has brought about a rustic Autumnal vignette
atop the dining room hutch!
Blending a muted palette,
the natural elements of nature create a rustic theme
that carries On Crooked Creek's dining room
from Autumn to Thanksgiving!
Soft sage green, buttery yellow, orange and brown hues mimic Aspen leaves from the mountains of Colorado. The introduction of the rustic element comes in the form of a deer shed.
Quail are a common sight here on the Prairie.
The realistic texture of this nest, concealing speckled eggs,
adds to the natural content.
Dried leaves and berries are a visual reminder of the drought seen throughout the Midwest. Muted, creamy hued pumpkins complete the vignette.
Bringing about a rustic Autumnal vignette
is not a chore,
but rather a pleasant distraction On Crooked Creek!
Until next time. . .

This looks really nice, Pat.
ReplyDeleteI try sooo hard to use the antlers but, since there's always been tons of them in our shed, I just can't get in the mode to use them as decorators. Yours looks so pretty here, tho, I am going to try again.
