On Crooked Creek has seen a change in programming. . .
on the Entertainment Center, that is!
Once the Christmas decor came down,
I placed the trio of evergreens,
in their creamy ivory vintage vases,
atop the Entertainment Center.
The backdrop is an heirloom window from the Family Farm.
I adore the peeling paint exposing the wood grain.
It doesn't bother me that some of the panes are missing. . .
this feature gives authenticity and character to the window.
A trio of white lacy birds
were scattered intermittently throughout the evergreens.
Additional sprigs of evergreen boughs, inserted at the base,
reminds us of the frigid Winter weather that has arrived
On Crooked Creek.
Br~r~r . . .this mornings temperature was 13 degrees!
As you can see,
the sun is brightly shining through the patio doors
and casting a warm glow this afternoon. Ah~h~h!
So,
whether there's one. . .
two. . .
or three. . .
this change of programming
in the Entertainment Center On Crooked Creek
is a welcoming site!
For your viewing pleasure,
and ours!
Until next time. . .
On Crooked Creek will be joining

ReplyDeleteYour little trees with the white and the wonderful old window make a beautiful scene.
ReplyDeleteThe evergreens look so nice framed by the vintage window.
ReplyDeleteIt is cold here, too...tomorrow the high is supposed to only be 30°!
Oh come on over and work on mine! The only time I put anything up there is at Christmas. With 11 ft celings things seem to get lost.

ReplyDeleteWe have lots and lots of snow coming this week...I'll send it your way!
Pat, your winter vignette is perfect on top of your entertainment center. You can never go wrong with a fabulous old window as your backdrop. Loving the greens with all your pretty whites.
