Trees On Crooked Creek. . .

Years ending in an even number
are our years to host
Christmas On Crooked Creek ! ! !

Which means
this year every Christmas Tree has been placed
and decorated throughout our entire 1970's Ranch Style Home!

Gloria !
A miniature trio of evergreen trees in vintage vases
help to herald out the message of Christ birth.
Each time I pass this Scriptural vignette in our Entry Hall,
I burst into. . .Angels we Have Heard On High ~
As you enter our home On Crooked Creek,
it is our hope that you will hold in your heart the true
Reason  for the Season !

Visions of Sugarplums ~
showcases a 5 foot tree within my half round basket
adorned with Gingerbread ornaments
and vintage metal cookie cutters for our Dining Room !
Red and white gingham checked ribbon tied in a bow
for the topper then again wound throughout the branches
adds to a festive and whimsical theme. The addition of wooden
beaded garland brings a warm, golden glow to the slender tree.

Purchased already decorated,
just a bit of fluffing and this Gingerbread Tree is aglow.
Embellished not only with the tiniest Gingerbread Men,
but also with country checked bows and rustic jingle bells !
Warm Gingerbread scent fills the air On Crooked Creek
when this miniature 2 foot tree is lighted.

A Christmas Carol ~
bestows honor upon our 50 year old,
7 foot tree in our Living Room !
Traditional green, gold and red ornate ornaments
make a glorious sight to behold upon each branch possible !
Brocade sage green ~ on ~ green ribbon is wound
on every other row, then sprigs of fruit and berries
are tucked neatly into the fir branches giving needed fullness
to the sparse vintage tree. Traditional Angel topper with
red and gold brocade skirt are the finishing touches
to this Traditional decor.

O Tannenbaum ~
how lovely are those flocked branches
of our economically priced 3 foot tree
within a vintage concrete planter for our Home Office!
Mary Carol miniature plates, convex tree and wreath ornaments,
gold swirling glitter and golden icicle ornaments combined
with ribbed creamy ivory and golden ribbon add a unique contrast.

Luxe Lodge ~
befitting our lower level Family Room 6 foot lodge tree.
Filled with twig spheres, pine cones, branches, pheasant feathers,
chocolate brown, bronze glitter and gold ornaments  makes this an
outdoorsmans delight. This year, I tucked a quail's nest
amongst the branches for added rustic appeal.

Added to the hearth,
are two faux 2 foot pine trees
Warm, golden wooden beaded garland,
smaller pheasant feathers and twig stars
(made by "Mr. Ed") are the only embellishments needed !
These miniature trees are encircled with "Mr. Ed's"
racks and sheds from Deer Seasons past.
A redware N O E L plate is tucked neatly into one set of racks,
while a pair of quail take refuge at the base of the other.

Romantic Rose ~
an antique 2 foot pink feather tree
blends harmoniously with our Cheri Blum
Antique Rose Quilt draperies in the Master bedroom.
Vintage tear drop aqua, gold, pink and silver ornaments
are secured with sheer pink ribbon tied into bows on each branch !
Vintage pink ornaments and silver snowflakes add to the
romantic notion that Snow is in the air for Santa's Sleigh ride.

Trees On Crooked Creek
range anywhere from 2 feet to 7 feet in height.

Some are skinny and thin
while others are fat and thick.

Several are lighted,
others are not !

All ~ in~ all. . .
we're decked throughout the halls with
Christmas Trees On Crooked Creek ! ! !

Until next time. . .

Each and every one of your many trees is gorgeous! They each have their own personality as well, just as you describe with their themes. I bet you listened to Christmas music as you decorated!

I love your trees...each one is so special..I can't decide which one I like best. I am going to show my hubby the one with the deer antlers as he loves to hunt and fish. Also going to tell our youngest son to look at it..he is a taxidermist and one like that would look great in his showroom.

Oh my goodness!! Looks like a hotel with all of those trees. Since my hubby made me keep his mom's table I don't have room for a full sized tree this year. We're just using a little one, and should be able to have a tree again next Christmas.

Oh, my Lord! Pat! Winter Wonderful deluxe! What gorgeous trees you've decorated and you must be exhausted! Everything looks beautiful! I've got to take a little rest after thinking of all the work you've done.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Oh Pat, ALL of your trees look beautiful! Perfect compliments to each room they are in. I can't pick a favorite, they are all done so beautifully. MY tree will be shared SOON! It is in our new morning room and I LOVE it there. I also have a small gingerbread tree in the kitchen and another small tree upstairs in the bonus room. XO, Pinky

....and a mighty good job of decorating your halls, my dear.
All your trees are beautiful and I know you and Mr. Ed enjoyed putting them up for your family to enjoy.
